Since 2013, local authorities have been ale to host a weekend-long celebration of cycling.
In 2024, 35 local communities from the Tour and the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift participated in this celebration. In 2025, the celebration will take place on May 24 and 25.
Numerous festivities and activities were organized in these areas, such as in Florence, where municipal police officers were able to train many young people in road safety rules through cycling, as well as many bike rides on some sections that will be covered by the peloton of the Tour next July.
