For nearly 15 years, the Tour de France has been fully committed to moving towards an increasingly eco-responsible organization.
In 2017, it was one of the funding member of the charter of 15 environmentally responsible commitments under the aegis of the Frenche Ministry of Sports and WWF France.
This charter is an adaptation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations to sports, and commits the Tour de France each year to achieving social and environmental objectives.
