E.Leclerc goes back for 5 more Tours !

The sponsor of the polka dot jersey and leading partner of the Tour de France renews its contract through 2028 with Tour de France organiser A.S.O.

E.Leclerc and the organiser of the Tour de France, A.S.O, have announced a five-year extension of their partnership from 2024 to 2028. The French supermarket chain will continue its role as sponsor of the best climber's jersey and as a leading partner of the Tour de France, a position it has taken on with passion and generosity since the 2019 edition.

As part of their agreement, E.Leclerc will continue to sponsor Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix and the l'Étape du Tour de France.

As a leading partner of the Tour de France since 2019, E.Leclerc develops its programme each year to offer millions of spectators the public extravaganza they have become accustomed to each summer: the caravan, showcasing of local producers, entertainment at the start and finish lines and in the "villages", handing out of samples, charity assistance to the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque - Enfants du monde association with the "Sommets du cœur" initiative...

"Along with all the members of the E.Leclerc Movement, we have made a very positive evaluation of the first years of the partnership. We knew the common values shared with this great race and with the polka-dot jersey: regional roots, conviviality, tenacity... but to see how they take shape on the ground and on the screens, how the public responds to this event and the generosity of our brands - and our teams! -It's truly a huge satisfaction. I am pleased that E.Leclerc can significantly contribute to this great celebration of French sport and heritage."

Michel-Edouard Leclerc, Chairman of the Strategy Committee of Centres E.Leclerc

"I am delighted with the extension of our agreement with E.Leclerc as the sponsor of the polka dot jersey through 2028. The Tour de France has an extremely close bond with its public, and E.Leclerc has captured the hearts of the spectators of the Grande Boucle in recent years. The courage shown by the champions during the month of July makes this jersey very popular. The polka dot jersey was created in 1975, but the best climber classification has existed since 1933, so it will be 90 years in 2023, and I would like to thank E.Leclerc for its loyalty to the Tour de France."
