"I’m not disappointed at all. There were stronger riders than me today, and that’s it. I had heavy legs today. On the first climb to Mûr-de-Bretagne I reckoned my legs were good, but not that good, so on the last climb I settled with staying in the mix for as long as possible. Yesterday, Mathieu van der Poel was disappointed because he didn’t win, but he felt happy for me - and today it’s my turn to feel the same. We both have the same racing style, as we like to attack. I’m happy for him: he deserves this win. With this green jersey I’ve now worn every jersey on the Tour de France, and that’s very special. The yellow jersey it’s magic, but also a big responsibility. My team worked hard for me today, and there is a long Tour ahead with many options. For instance, there are many sprints where Mark Cavendish stands a chance."
