A young local brand will be leaving for the Tour de France’s caravan. Socca Chips®, innovative chips made with chickpea flour, produced in Nice since 2014, becomes “Official Supporter of the “Grand Départ” of the Tour de France Nice 2020".
Five years ago, Luc, Christine and Fabienne, three professionals in the hotel and restaurant industry, embarked on the Socca Chips® adventure. Today, Socca Chips® has thirty employees, over 1,500 outlets and thousands of consumers. As part of its national development, Socca Chips® has decided to join the 107th Tour de France edition, a heritage event in perfect harmony with the brand's values, on the occasion of the “Grand Départ” from Nice.
The countdown has now started: beyond close collaboration with institutions, Socca Chips® aims to involve many local players (artists, schools, suppliers, service providers, etc.) in the department and the region.
A Crowdfunding campaign will also be launched in February to encourage local production and the Made in France. “We want to take advantage of our visibility on the Tour de France to bring together local players, says Chef Luc Salsedo. The profits collected during this campaign will help us to do better and more by putting maximum emphasis on the region. Indeed, this event is a springboard for Socca Chips® but also for the local economic dynamics. »
