In the past 48 hours there have been multiple press conferences with each team, with riders asked questions directly by the media, there have been meetings with press attaches from each team, and we went into Dusseldorf City Centre for the Team Presentations, where the teams arrive on stage to music and greet the fans. It has been a very busy but enjoyable couple of days!
For the rest of the tour, we will be keeping you up to speed on all there is to know from the riders, to the fans to the guys behind the scenes who make the Tour de France the greatest sporting show on earth.
Sarah, 19 years old from Avignon, is a specialist photographer with a sharp eye for detail. She will try to be everywhere at once to get the best shots of riders, the atmosphere and the fans. She also has a passion for social media, particularly Instagram and Twitter.
Tom, 25 years old from London, also a passionate cyclist but specialises more in written communication and video. He will be looking for the best quotes and comments to go in his articles by carrying out interviews with the riders and fans and speaking to the press teams.
Julien, 27 years old from Frankfurt, is a passionate cyclist. His key skill is in languages, he speaks German, French and English. He is excellent at interviewing riders and fans where his passion for people and sport really shines.
