Alexis Vuillermoz (Ag2R): "It was close. At the passage at Grand Colombier, I reached the top with Pantano and Reichenbach and I lost touch in the descent. Behind we worked well, we rode a good ascent with Reichenbach. I came back within five or ten seconds. I decided to join forces with Sebastian in the finale and then we finished four seconds back. It's frustrating. I wanted to show that I was improving day after day. I'm on the way up. I'm at the beginning of my season. I didn't race a lot because I had a lot of crashes. I'm really fresh and feeling better and better, that's good news and there are nice mountain stages to look for."
