The two breakaway riders Jan Barta and Jean-Marc Bideau are rookies on the Tour de France. The Czech rider has ridden the Giro and the Vuelta once before. He even came second in stage 14 to Cervinia behind Andrey Amador from Movistar in 2012. He's a multiple Czech champion for time trial. Bideau is taking part in his first Grand Tour and he's a multiple winner of Paris-Troyes.
