Some cyclists wrap up their season in Tours or the roads of the Tour of Beijing, while those lucky enough to take part in the inaugural edition will finish theirs at the Saitama Criterium. Nevertheless, most of them are already thinking of 2014 and the highlight of the season: the Tour de France, whose 101th edition will kick off from Leeds, England, on July 5. The first three stages to Harrogate, Sheffield and London will set the stage for an exciting show full of surprises. From there, it will be 18 days to the grand finale in Paris' Champs-Elysées, following a route which will be revealed and examined in detail on October 23 at the Palais des Congrès, with over 4,000 people in attendance. Among them, defending champion Chris Froome and many stage hunters like Marcel Kittel and Mark Cavendish will be paying special attention to what the route has in store for them. The rest will flock to the official site (letour.fr) to watch the live video stream of the presentation ceremony, which starts at 11 am.
